This 19th-century house has evolved over the years, embracing Altea’s rich heritage and growing alongside it.
Driven by a deep passion for local culture and art, the owner transformed the old house into a sanctuary of creativity and well-being—a place where guests could escape the daily grind and immerse themselves in a magical, inspiring atmosphere. Thus, El Amante was born: a space where every detail tells a story and every room is a different chapter.

El Amanteis more than just a 19th-century house; it is the fulfillment of its owner’s dream, which began with the idea of creating a unique and special retreat in beautiful Altea, nestled along the Mediterranean coast.
